Don’t Mix It Up!
There’s definitely confusion for consumers in the CBD and hemp world. We’ve had quite a few clients ask us if Hemp Oil is the same as CBD oil. The answer is definitely NO! While Hemp Oil has it’s own unique benefits, it contains zero CBD’s. Unfortunately, with the world wide interest CBD heightening, some brands are taking advantage of the confusion and raising the price of hemp oil. While hemp oil is fantastic, it’s not the same as CBD. Here’s a quick sheet so you can identify the differences of two great compounds that come from the same plant:
CBD Oil:
– Is extracted from the leaves, flowers, and stalks of the cannabis plant.
– Contains 100+ cannabinoids or active compounds
– Known to act as an anti-inflammatory agent and analgesic (pain relief)
Hemp Oil:
– Cold pressed “superfood”
– Contains zero CBD’s
– Contains good amounts of antioxidants, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids
